What is the maximum permissible total weight of the QiO models?
The permissible total weight of all QiO models of the model year 2024 is 180kg. This means that the bike can be loaded with up to 180kg including its own weight (approx. 27kg), rider weight and luggage. The maximum rider weight is 150kg for the EINS+ model and up to 120kg for the other EINS models.
The weight of the normal EINS models varies from 25,5kg to 27,7kg depending on the equipment and model. The EINS+ model has a weight of 28,3kg, while the EINSx model weighs 29,2kg.
The weight of a QiO e-compact bike is actually not much different from other e-bikes. Why is that?
The weight is mainly due to the gravity casting process used for the frame. The complex and rigid frame shape has the advantage of a higher load capacity and a safer ride, which is why every QiO is particularly suitable for transporting children.
Thanks to its small wheels, the QiO is space-saving and can be stored anywhere, even in a motorhome. The low step-in offers all riders a safe riding experience. This also creates more space above the front wheel for your luggage.
True to our motto "One Bike Fits All", people from 1,60m to 1,90m tall can ride it ergonomically. Depending on body proportions, it is still possible for slightly shorter and taller riders to ride a QiO bike comfortably. Just give it a try on a test ride!
